The latest member of the Carp Expert Neo reel series.

These spools appear on the waterfront with a sleek design, as does the Neo Distance 9000.

But the look isn’t everything, is it?

The look includes the structure of the reel, the huge long casting reel spool. We are talking about a diameter of 80 mm with a height of 40 mm! For large distance casting to work, we need a large mixing guide, which is not infrequently 50 in case of boilie fishing rods.

Its material is graphite, on which we can even fill a braided line, which we feel the advantage is because we can use a significantly smaller thickness than monofilament while maintaining tensile strength and the elongation of the line casted over a long length will be minimal, so the bite is detected immediately and accurately.

Of course, it can also be used with a monofilament main line (with the addition of a braided casting connector), with an average line thickness of around 0.20 mm for feeder and 0.25 for boilie. Cultivators of the boilie method, in extreme cases, need to go down to a "thickness" of 0.18-0.20 mm, if the extra large has to be casted and the conditions allow (clean terrain). Thanks to the size of the spool, it retracts the end tackle very quickly, with a full turn of the handle we can regain 1 meter of line!

In the case of spools of this size, the line prefers to jump under the spool, but not on this spool, as a plastic rim has been placed at the bottom, which eliminates this inconvenience. The large spool was fitted with giant brake discs, which created a precisely adjustable, non-stick dosing device.

There is a 6 + 1 bearing in the reel, which gives the reel a perfectly smooth run, we feel almost no resistance when we turn it. The metal handle remained sufficiently strong and solid, but at the same time remained light too. Lightness is also a feature of the entire reel, as momentum matters a lot to make big casts, which we may not be able to present with a heavy reel. Its shaft is 6 mm thick steel.
